Dr. Lyle Hotchkiss is a West Michigan native who received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University in 1969 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1973. Both his parents were teachers: one a loving, principled woman, and the other a workaholic “renaissance man.” These influences resulted in Lyle developing a broad range of interests and talents, one being writing.

Lyle is an experienced author. He has written two professional manuals, a motivational piece that appeared in Success magazine’s “Reader’s Best Tips for Peak Performance,” the story, “Hog Happy Ending,” for the July/August 2006 issue of Harley-Davidson’s Hog Tales magazine, and various articles for newspapers and websites.
